I loved this right up until the ending, which, you know, didn’t ruin it for me, but it wasn’t great, for all the reasons you guys discussed. I’m with Tim, though, I heard it as not that the bad cop was god-shamed by the priest but that the priest was like “you’re going to confess, because if you don’t, I’ll tell.” I listened to this today while alone on a muddy trail in the woods during a thunderstorm, which was the PERFECT ambiance for listening. I didn’t plan it, but wow, I love it when that happens. The other day I listened to your Aunt Emmy episode and liked it so much, never having heard The Clock before, I went back in time to listen to this one. Wow! How come all is old time radio nerds aren’t talking about The Clock all the time? Are they all this good?

This episode was okay, but it featured something that I truly hate when I come across it in any media form, namely when the person who is being asked to explain something gives half of an explanation and never fully explains themself. There are so many times that where a full explanation would clear everything up, or at least, in this case, provide a clear answer to all of the questions at the beginning, which would make the story less suspicious. It drives me nuts. Just explain the whole story and talk about it, rather than give half an explanation and then act offended at the question. I was yelling at my phone as I listened to it, which made me look crazy because I was wearing headphones, so no one else could hear me.
Been really enjoying the podcast, just recently (a few hours ago) got fully caught up. Look forward to hearing more!

The ending of "A Helping (Hand)," featuring the eavesdropping priest, almost ruined that episode for me. (I'm not Catholic, but I'm pretty sure priests aren't required to keep "accidental confessions" overheard outside the confessional confidential.) However, the ending of your podcast, featuring the Human Foley Machine, was brilliant!
