I always enjoy listening to your comments regardless, one of the main reasons I listen to your fine podcast. I’ve always been a big Witch’s Tale fan since I was in my late teens. If you want to hear Miriam Wolfe’s actual voice on The Witch’s Tale, there is one surviving episode called “In The Devil’s Name”. Though probably the best episode to hear with Cole and his wife acting, from the American series, is called “Graveyard Mansion”. It’s probably one of the very first (if not the first) vampire story done on radio. It’s full of what today would be called “cliches” but it had to start somewhere!

Most of the better sounding shows that survive from The Witch’s Tale are from the later Australian run. Those episodes start with a bell tolling and dark orchestral music. The American opening was quite different. Most of the episodes A. D. Cole acted in are in rather poor sound. Interestingly enough, there is only one surviving episode that Miriam Wolfe plays the Witch.
