Kelley actually had quite a connection as an actor to that famous gunfight. In 1955, he played Ike Clanton in the CBS tv show “You Are There,” which featured the gunfight. Then, in 1957, he was in the movie you mentioned–this time playing Morgan Earp. So on his second appearance at the OK Corral, he switched sides. But he wasn’t done yet. In the 1968 Star Trek episode “Spectre of the Gun,” in which aliens force the Enterprise crew to participate in an illusion of the OK Corral battle, he is back in the Clanton gang. So he was at the OK Corral three times, but switched sides every time.
