It definitely stands the test of time, and I would even go so far as to call it a timeless classic. (I’ll concede that I may be influenced by the fact that I listened to this one after “The Perfect Script”, and I voted “There may be some antiquated moments, but overall it’s great” for that one — so, grading on a curve, I *have* to call this one a timeless classic.)

Regarding the record sung by Mercedes McCambridge, I might have found this annoying if they had said something like, “Hey, she’s great! Everyone should go out and buy this record!” But when Marty dismisses it as garbage, I thought it was pretty funny.
