The book “In The Garden of Beasts” gives the reader a good idea of just what people knew about Nazi Germany in 1933-ish, so to be “anti-war” in 1938 is a bit disingenuous. The writer is really against America stopping the Third Reich.

It is painful to see how incompetent The Shadow is made, in order for the writer to make their point and it really defies belief.
