Fair points. I agree with ending A, the idea that she either uncovers the bones with the axe, or C they do a quick bit at the end where some people (police, doctors, construction workers), have a discussion about the discovery of the bones. That would let them keep her ending monologue, which I found really powerful. It feels like it’s a commentary on the people who won’t listen to women because of their gender.

This script did not stand out to me, as an AO script. The man in the wall was just great. Creepy, suspenseful, horrific. Great ending too. 4 out 4.

Man talks down to and takes advantage of a smart woman who is a social outcast because of her brains (Unmarried Female High School Physics Teacher-Nerd).
The desperate nerd woman who goes crazy when she doesn’t get the man of her attention trope is really hurtful in this current social and political climate.

The judge said he took her money, but that wasn’t in the story.
I would like the story to have a more definitive ending. A) They actually find his bones and the truth drove her crazy. B) He shows back up and because she couldn’t handle the rejection, she went mad.
