This is one of my favorite OTR episodes. I’m biased because I work in the costume shop at the Detroit Opera House, which has a little tunnel (no water in it) from one part of the building to another, I adore Italian food, and my favorite Opera is Faust! A fabulous lady detective in an era of male dominated field (investigator, radio drama star, single professional woman with a great sense of humor). Also the concept that Mallard keeps giving her guns instead of helping her learn how to protect herself, is SO pertinent for today’s climate.
