This is one of the greatest Shadow episodes of all time! It’s a timeless classic! It’s probably fortunate, for the sake of civility, that I hadn’t listened to your commentary yet before the Patreon happy hour Tuesday, or it might have turned into more of an angry hour (or at least a disgruntled hour).

The actress playing Margo barely had anything to do in this episode, which was unusual, Margo was always very much a part of the action in the Shadow series, so Moorhead’s presence was definitely missed. That being said, Orson Welles gave the best, and most intense take on the Shadow as a character—even the episodes he did were much tougher, darker, and seemed to acknowledge on social problems more than the later ones did. He even had the best evil laugh out of all the Shadow actors, lol.
