I’m pretty sure that Webber played the niece also. When I heard the niece’s voice, I immediately pictured an actress from several episodes of the 1967-70 Dragnet TV series, and then had to do some Googling to find out her name. I could have saved some time if I’d just come here and read your comment first! 🙂

Webber is still alive and actually celebrated her 100th birthday just a few weeks ago.
