Montenegro is the country where Nero Wolfe was supposedly conceived. I don’t know what the name is for people who look for those kinds of connections among literary characters, but the pursuit of those connections specific to Sherlock Holmes stories and characters is called “The Game.” There’s also the Wold Newton family created by Philip Jose Farmer, in which Nero Wolfe, The Shadow, Sam Spade, Philip Marlowe and other extraordinary individuals are related.
